Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Administrative Scale Attendant for a leading facility committed to environmental sustainability and to providing exceptional customer service in the solid waste service industry.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact to greet and direct customers depositing waste items at the facility.

  • Calculate payments for customers.

  • Ensures incoming loads contain appropriate material.

  • Monitor safety protocols, requesting customers and employees when required, wear required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).

  • Maintain the workplace, ensuring an organized work environment.

  • Complete administrative tasks including filing and report generation.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors.

  • Participate in training and attend company meetings as scheduled.

  • Work overtime as required and necessary to meet business needs.

  • Approach all interactions with a friendly, service-oriented attitude.

    Requirements:

  • Previous administrative and/or customer service experience.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience working and calculating numbers.

    Education:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
