Job Title: Mechanical Licensing Temp

Duration: 6 Months Contract + Possibility of Extension/FTE

Location: Franklin, TN 37067

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $21.62

JOB SUMMARY

Duties:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and eager-to-learn candidate for mechanical licensing team.

Will be an essential part of the team responsible for licensing audio-only recordings and will ensure that our songs are registered properly with mechanical rights societies, record labels and digital service providers.

The ideal candidate will have a great attention to detail and work ethic; the capacity to handle large work volume and to do so with grace and composure; excellent communication skills and a firm handle of technology and computer systems.

Passion for music is always a plus

Job Functions:

• Provide publishing and mechanical splits - externally via MDX/LCH and email
• Review data and provide corrections on bulk licensing reports
• Assist with product setup in our internal database (RECS)
• Issue statutory mechanical licenses
• Maintain multiple workflow trackers in
• Request missing documentation for controlled rates

Skills:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize heavy workload and multi-task effectively
• Robust computer skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team to achieve goals
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to handle pressure and deadlines

Experience:

Basic understanding of music publishing, including copyright & mechanical licensing
