Registered Nurse (RN) Job Overview

Inpatient facility offering long-term and short-term care providing quality care to the patients and families in West Tennessee
Mission: Providing quality care through service excellence. Provide personalized care and services that support recovery and successful return to the community
Provides nursing care and procedures according to physician's orders and nursing protocol.
Administers medication according to the physician's orders and protocol.
Evaluates possible side effects and the overall effectiveness of medication.
Performs BLS (Basic Life Support), CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), and other emergency responses, and participates in emergency response setting.
Performs assessments, completing data entry, documentation, completing reports and maintaining personnel records.
Supervisory duties of LVNs and psychiatric nursing assistants and following all facility rules/policies.
Completes position responsibilities by following established guidelines and protocols within the appropriate timeframe.

Registered Nurse (RN) job qualifications:

1 year of RN experience and Bachelor's of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
RN Licensure: active, current, unrestricted in Tennessee
BLS by American Heart Association (hands-on course)
