Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per weekLength: 13 weeks
Weekend rotation - Every other or 50% weekends per 4-week schedule. Weekends are Friday, Saturday, and SundayHoliday Expectations: Every other holiday minimum during contracted timeframe

Requirements:

• SD License
• Minimum 1 year of experience
• Skills required: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV starts, Blood product administration, CIWA, drain/tube management, indwelling and straight catheter insertion/management, insulin drips - non-DKA only, continuous bladder irrigation, chest tube maintenance; Effective verbal and written communication, thorough physical assessments, strong clinical judgement, professional bedside manner, strong team player, positive attitude, adaptability
• Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
• ACLS
• BLS

Other Details:

• Could be floated within scope of practice and below
• Patient Ratios: PCU/Tele - 1:4 (Days & Nights)
• Beds: 56
• First time traveler accepted if greater than 2 years' experience
