Join Our Team as a Housekeeping Supervisor at Atrium Hospitality!
Primary Purpose:
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional experience. You'll lead our dedicated housekeeping team, uphold our brand standards for cleanliness, and coordinate with various departments to ensure timely room readiness.
In this dynamic role, you will:
- Collaborate Across Departments: Coordinate activities with other teams to deliver efficient and timely services that align with our high service standards.
- Lead and Inspire: Provide coaching and support to housekeeping associates, ensuring that performance and cleanliness standards are consistently met and exceeded.
- Recognize Excellence: Offer timely feedback and recognition to team members, celebrating their contributions in line with Atrium's Core Values.
- Maintain High Standards: Conduct inspections of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards and verifying room statuses.
- Forecast and Manage: Anticipate staffing and supply needs to facilitate effective scheduling and cost control, optimizing our operational efficiency.
- Oversee Daily Operations: Open and close the housekeeping department, assigning tasks and monitoring daily activities.
- Manage Lost and Found: Track items, communicate with guests, and coordinate the return of lost belongings.
- Promote Safety and Sanitation: Lead efforts to ensure a safe and secure environment for both guests and staff.
- Engage the Team: Conduct daily briefings with the housekeeping team to set the tone for a productive day.
- Utilize Equipment Safely: Operate laundering equipment to clean and press linens while maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
- Follow Policies: Adhere to all safety and security protocols, reporting any issues or hazards to leadership.
- Adapt and Assist: Be flexible and ready to tackle any additional tasks that help achieve our primary goals.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months in housekeeping or a related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in hospitality is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Technology Skills:
- Basic computer skills are beneficial.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs regularly.
- Capable of bending, squatting, walking, and standing for the duration of your shift.
Other Qualifications:
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
