PDS Tech is currently recruiting for Aviation Systems Assemblers in North Charleston, SC!

Job Title: Aviation Systems Assembler
Job Type: Full Time; Consultant (6 months)
Location: North Charleston, SC 29418
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Shifts: Must be willing and able to work any shift based on business needs
Pay Rate: $35.13 - $50.74 per hour

Job Summary:

The Assembler will perform advanced, specialized, or prototype production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies, often using automated assembly tools. This role may involve guiding and supporting other assemblers in their tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex assembly tasks on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, and subassemblies.

• Use automated tools and machinery for assembly operations.

• Work as part of a "travel team" to various locations based on project needs.

• Conduct aircraft maintenance and flight readiness tasks.

• Repair and maintain aircraft exterior panels, apply paint, sealants, and ti-foil.

• Perform composite repairs.

• Troubleshoot and maintain aircraft systems, including power, hydraulics, and in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems.

• Conduct functional and operational tests on systems installations.

Required Qualifications:

• 15-20 years of assembly experience, particularly in aviation.

• Experience in aircraft maintenance and flight readiness.

• Hands-on experience with composite repairs, exterior panels, and specialized materials.

• Familiarity with aircraft systems, including troubleshooting and testing.

• Knowledge of systems installations and maintenance of in-flight entertainment (IFE) systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A&P License (strong preference but not required if relevant aviation industry experience is demonstrated).

Top Technical/Software Skills:

• Aircraft maintenance.

• Systems repair and troubleshooting.

• Functional and operational testing.

• Systems installations.

• IFE maintenance and testing.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift based on business needs.

• Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

Pay Details: $35.13 to $50.74 per hour
