To further support their continued success, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.

Position Overview

The Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance team and coordinate maintenance activities to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime. This role involves hands-on supervision of repair and maintenance tasks across various machinery and equipment while fostering a culture of safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise, maintain, clean, lubricate, and repair production machinery, including lasers, plasma tables, and machining centers.

Ensure all equipment is clean, functional, and prepared for production.

Oversee the troubleshooting of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

Maintain fixtures and equipment to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.

Diagnose complex repair issues and supervise the repair or replacement of defective parts.

Promote and enforce safety standards, ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment.

Manage the collection and disposal of solid and hazardous waste generated at the work site.

Develop and manage the maintenance budget while tracking maintenance metrics.

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth production operations.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of maintenance technician experience.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Proficient in utilizing hand-held tools and machinery, both manual and powered.

Expertise in welding, cutting with gas torches, and troubleshooting machine controls.

Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to develop and implement maintenance procedures while maintaining proper documentation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and maneuver 200 lbs without assistance.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

Knowledge of PLC and computer controls, relay ladder logic, and electronic controls.

Forklift and crane certifications are a plus.
