Job description

Overview Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a senior-level Business/Technical Requirements Analyst to support the capture and creation of technical requirements from functional specifications for agile development projects, analyze and document client requirements and business processes, and validate requirements, interface, and other module requirements. This includes working closely with our Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) clients to review requirements and policy documents for accuracy and improvement. Responsibilities The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Review requirements and policy documents Validate requirements, interface, and other module requirements Develop initial roadmaps process diagrams and adjust as necessary Compile feedback through the development and sustainment process Act as a liaison between managers, stakeholders, and software development teams Document requirements with tools such as flowcharts and Unified Modeling Language notation Work with project stakeholders to identify and prioritize the system requirements, which can be documented in a software requirements specification Serve as the primary POC to ensure that requirements reflect the end users' needs and that the system being developed reflects the requirements Tracks individual requirements from baseline to the final verification of functionality following the software development Qualifications Qualifications Required: Minimum of five (5) years of senior technical requirements management experience with federal government contracts Must have the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the project Must possess business and technical knowledge to review workflow, documentation and user surveys, and analyze data to identify a solution to a business issue Experience formulating and reviewing task plans and deliverable items while serving in or supporting the federal government. Qualifications Desired: Experience with UML, JIRA, and agile software development methodologies desired Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a discipline related to engineering, information technology, or management. Clearance: This position requires an active Public Trust. Must be a U.S. citizen. Physical Requirements: In addition to the skills and qualifications mentioned above, candidates must, at a minimum, be able to meet the following physical requirements. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Ability to use stairs without assistance Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands, wrists, and fingers Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer Ability to stand, sit, walk, lift, carry, reach, kneel, crouch, bend and climb a step stool/ladder
