Description

As a Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bringing projects to life, ensuring every aspect is executed flawlessly. Your contributions will be essential in driving project success from inception to completion.

The Project Engineer - Elite General Contractor - Charleston will be responsible for:

  • Take the lead in developing comprehensive project plans that encompass scope, budget, and schedule, ensuring every detail is meticulously accounted for.
  • Coordinate project activities to keep everything on track and meet crucial timelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects.
  • Review construction drawings and specifications for precision and compliance, guaranteeing the highest quality standards.
  • Support the development and monitoring of project budgets to maintain financial health throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Track project expenses, proactively identify potential cost overruns, and implement effective cost control measures.
  • Enforce stringent quality control processes to ensure that all construction work meets industry standards and project specifications.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges, developing strategic mitigation plans to address them head-on.
  • Proactively address any issues that arise to prevent delays and ensure project success.
  • Communicate project status, updates, and challenges clearly and effectively with the internal team.

  • Minimum of 1 year of construction experience with a general contractor is required.
