Job Summary and Qualifications

As an EP Technologist in our Cardiovascular Cath Lab, you will assume responsibility for a group of patients for a designated time to supply care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other healthcare members. Your care will change the lives of our patients.

What you will do:

You will be responsible for overall care and evaluation of patients EP procedures and cardiac device implantations performed in the EP Lab

You will monitor patients during EP procedures, and performing sterile scrub procedures for both diagnostic and interventional procedures

What qualifications you will need:

Associate Degree in Cardiovascular Technician preferred

A current American Heart Association ACLS certification or American Red Cross ALS certification is required

A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required

Required License: RT or CVT required, RCIS preferred

Registered Radiologic Technician (does not have to be RRT if CVT at time of hire)

Previous cardiac catheterization and EP experience strongly preferred
