Overview:
Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania.
Our services include LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly); skilled nursing, home health; personal care; adoption & foster care; assisted living; adult day services; memory care; hospice; palliative care; residential living; affordable housing; home safety monitoring; Meals on Wheels; rehabilitation services and private duty.

Assists participants in activities of daily living. Plans and implements activities and programs, assists with individual and group activities, exercises and discussions to ensure an abundant life for participants. Encourages socialization between participants. Performs basic duties to assist participants in maintaining an environment consistent with their needs. Assists participants in their mobility exercises to help them be more independent for their activities and maintain their current level of functioning. Provides care in a manner that ensures participant satisfaction and retention.
This is a casual position.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
At least one year of related experience working with individuals in a health care or social service setting.
At least one year experience with the frail or elderly population.
Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
