Schedule: # Shifts/Month: 1 week per month, must be able to work 7 consecutive days Coverage Needs Details: Would be on call the entire 7 days for 24 hours. In office 4 days per week 8a-5p, and in the OR 1 day per week (Thursday) and 24 hour weekend call. Provider is on 24 hour call and if they get call-in during clinic hours they will need to go to hospital.
Urgent Coverage dates: 3/17 - 3/28 ( a week and 4 days ) April & May can be a little more flexed for coverage dates
SHIFT/SCHEDULE Breakdown:
Mon, Tues, Wed, and Friday 8a-5p in office + call
Weekday call 5p 8a
Weekend call 24 hours beginning 5p Friday Monday 8a
Thursday , OR day 7a - 4p + call
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Active PA State License
DEA Required: Y
Board Status: Board Certified
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Minimum Years Experience (if applicable): 5
JOB INFORMATION
Will provider be required to work at multiple sites? Yes; sites are 3 miles apart
Frequency of work at alternating sites: Frequency depends on how many IP consultations are received for the 7 days. It could be 2 times, or 5 times that provider would need to travel to the other facility 3 miles away
Typical Day: In the office 8a - 5p, be on call entire 7 days and OR for 1 day.
Trauma Level: II
APP/Mid-Level Coverage Avail: Yes, there are 3 PA's and they will feed the physicians OR's
First month candidate works they will not be required to do an OR day, will work the 7 days and in the office for 5 whole days, second month they will do the one OR day. The reason is the candidate would need to be trained before placing them in the OR.
Will provider work solo? No
Required procedures: General ENT, tonsils, adenoids, tubes, but if someone does higher end ENT that can be discussed, considered.
