Position Overview: The Regional Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions across multiple facilities within a designated region. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong background in behavioral health management, operational excellence, and team development. The Regional Director will work closely with executive leadership to ensure that all facilities deliver exceptional patient care, adhere to regulatory standards, and achieve financial and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Leadership:
    • Oversee daily operations of multiple behavioral health facilities within the region.
    • Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality care.
    • Monitor and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness across facilities.
  2. Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and execute regional strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to align regional operations with the company's overall vision and mission.
    • Analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to drive improvements.
  3. Financial Management:
    • Manage regional budget, including financial planning, monitoring, and reporting.
    • Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high standards of care.
    • Ensure facilities meet financial targets and performance benchmarks.
  4. Staff Management and Development:
    • Recruit, train, and mentor facility leadership and staff.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes staff retention and development.
    • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  5. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all facilities comply with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies.
    • Implement and oversee quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of patient care.
    • Address and resolve any compliance issues or patient concerns in a timely manner.
  6. Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Build and maintain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and other stakeholders.
    • Represent the company at community events, meetings, and professional conferences.
    • Advocate for the needs of the facilities and the populations they serve.
  7. Crisis Management:
    • Develop and implement crisis management and contingency plans.
    • Provide support and guidance during critical situations to ensure continuity of care and operational stability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Behavioral Health, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in behavioral health management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successful multi-site operations management and team leadership.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health regulations, accreditation standards, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent financial management skills and experience with budget oversight.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the designated region as needed.
