SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

$80,000-$100,000

OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities
• Prepare financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Analyze and report on financial data to assist management in decision-making
• Manage fixed assets and inventory accounting
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Work with external auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax preparations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA or CPA-eligible preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with a preference for public accounting experience
• Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
