Overview:
Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA

Job Type: Full Time / Pemanent

The A.C.Coy Company has an immediate opening for a Network Security Engineer. Ideal candidates must have 4+ years of network design/engineering/operations experience and 2+ years of functional cloud infrastructure design and engineering experience. This role also requires experience across a variety of security products including firewalls, IDS, IPS, SIEM, email, seb security gateways, DLP and EDR.

Responsibilities:
Deploys network and security technology.

Monitors, analyzes and responds to alerts from network and security tools and services.

Reviews existing system design and architecture and makes network, cloud, and security-related recommendations.

Performs vulnerability scans of networks, applications, and endpoints to assess the effectiveness of patch management and application development processes.

Assists in responding to internal and external compliance audits, data requests, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments.

Develops and maintains cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.

Collaborates with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.

Ensures efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.

Performs cybersecurity incident detection, analysis, and response.

Performs security operations, administers security tools, and analyzes trends, methodologies, and best practices for securing services, platforms, and operating systems at cloud, network, server, and endpoint levels.

Contributes to the design, development, and testing of hardware, software, and cloud-based systems to ensure they are protected against cyber threats.

Maintains hardware and software tools used to support network and security operations.

Qualifications:
Education:

Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience Required:

Network design, engineering and operations - 4+ years

Cloud infrastructure design and engineering - 2+ years

NIST 800-53, ISO 27000 Series, NIST Cybersecurity Framework knowledge - 2+ years

Security products experience: firewalls, IDS, SIEM, EDR, DLP, web security gateways

Network+, Security+,CCNA and Azure Certifications - Preferred

Azure cloud security services and vulnerability management - Preferred
