Virtus Healthcare Staffing Seeks Passionate Pediatric Geneticist for Level I Trauma Children's Hospital in Philadelphia!

Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading Level I Trauma Children's Hospital in Philadelphia, PA to find a dedicated Pediatric Geneticist to join their esteemed team.

About the Opportunity:

This is an extraordinary chance for a board-certified/eligible physician to make a significant impact on the well-being of children. You will provide expert genetic consultations and screenings for a diverse patient population within a collaborative environment, supporting a Level IV NICU, PICU, trauma services, and a full range of pediatric services.

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive genetic consultations and screenings related to pediatric cancer, intellectual disability, genetic syndromes, and more.

Participate in inpatient consults, collaborating with physicians, nurses, genetic counselors, and other healthcare professionals.

Develop and deliver educational programs for residents and medical students, fostering knowledge and best practices in pediatric genetics.

Demonstrate a strong and proven commitment to excellence in:

Clinical care

Research and participation in clinical trials

Education and advocacy for pediatric genetics

The practice is located conveniently on the hospital campus.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.

Board-certified/eligible in Clinical Genetics & Genomics.

The ability to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license is mandatory.

Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in pediatric genetics is preferred.

Strong clinical skills and a passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest advancements in pediatric genetics.

Experience with research and a demonstrated interest in contributing to clinical trials is a plus.
