Job description

We are seeking a Financial Crimes Analyst to support our Financial Crimes unit. This role involves participating in low to moderately complex initiatives and identifying opportunities for process improvements within Financial Crimes. The analyst will review and analyze tactical assignments, conducting research and evaluations to address challenges related to low-to-medium risk deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage in low to moderately complex initiatives, identifying and recommending process improvements within Financial Crimes.

Review and analyze basic assignments related to Financial Crimes, including fraud, sanctions, and anti-bribery efforts.

Conduct research and evaluation of alternatives for addressing challenges, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

Present clear recommendations for resolving issues and exercise independent judgment while enhancing understanding of the function's objectives.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Fraud, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery, or Corruption, or equivalent experience through work, training, military service, or education.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information and make informed recommendations.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with stakeholders at various levels.

Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to compliance and risk management.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with financial crime regulations and compliance requirements.

Experience in process improvement methodologies.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
