The Philadelphia Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

Responsibilities:

Instructional Leadership:
- Develop and deliver engaging CPP curriculum content that aligns with industry standards and meets the unique needs of our diverse student population.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages active participation and skill development.

Career Development:
- Provide personalized career guidance, helping students identify their strengths, interests, and potential career paths.
- Collaborate with local employers to stay informed about industry trends and job market demands, integrating real-world insights into the curriculum.

Job Readiness Skills:
- Instruct students in essential job readiness skills, including resume writing, interview techniques, workplace etiquette, and effective communication.
- Conduct mock interviews and practical exercises to enhance students' confidence and preparedness for the workforce.

Technological Proficiency:
- Integrate technology into the curriculum to ensure students are familiar with industry-relevant tools and software.
- Provide hands-on training in computer skills, digital literacy, and other technologies applicable to their chosen career paths.

Collaboration and Networking:
- Collaborate with fellow instructors, career services, and external partners to enhance the overall learning experience and expand students' access to opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and industry professionals to facilitate internships, job placements, and guest speaker engagements.

Qualifications
Post Secondary Degree (Trade, Associates, Bachelor's, Master's) Required. Must possess a valid in-state driver's license.
