Stocking and Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

Hours: 7:45 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday

Must be flexible to work 7 AM - 7 PM based on business needs

Location: Montgomeryville, PA 18936

Contract role-6 weeks

Job Summary:

Primary focus is unloading and loading merchandise shipments from trucks to stock and organizing the products in the correct places within the warehouse. Assist with inventory, order picking, order packing, order checking, shipping/receiving, stocking, and maintenance/organization functions in the warehouse as directed by Management.

Job Duties:

Perform general stocking duties on a daily basis including storing and stocking products in/on bins, pallets, shelves, and racks.

Accurate order pulling and checking, and thorough stocking and organization.

Load and unload shipments from all delivery vehicles and common carriers.

Verify the accuracy of warehouse deliveries.

Sort, stack, and rotate inventory weekly

Create and update documents using Microsoft Office products.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility.

Operator forklift to move products around warehouse

Required Qualifications:

Must be detail oriented and will need to be able to work in a Team/Group environment, as well as independently without constant supervision.

Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.

Demonstrate understanding of safety issues.

Ability to be detailed, accurate, and thorough while working in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

Ability to follow instructions and directions thoroughly.

Must be flexible to work from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or later as needed.

Minimum of one year of experience supporting inventory or warehouse operations.

Forklift experience

Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

Requirements:

Drug-screen and Background check

Reliable transportation

Able to grasp, sit, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy loads of 75 pounds
