Job Title: Technician II

Location: 2900 FULLING MILL ROAD-MIDDLETOWN-PA

Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)

Hours: 8 Am 4:30 Pm (Mon - Fri)

Responsibilities:

Communicate with Supervisor and Manufacturing Engineers on any issues that arise during operations.

Set up simple and complex machinery with possibly complicated tooling changes.

Use and maintain various industrial 3D printer and postprocess equipment, including resin and extrusion processes for plastics.

Ability to follow work instructions for disposal of hazardous materials.

Perform Preventive Maintenance tasks and replace basic mechanical components when instructed.

Use of vision/control interface as well as computer/controls interface as part of the machine set-up process and be able to adjust system settings to achieve desired result.

Solve basic tooling issues, identify source of parts damage and participate in root cause analysis.

Use of inspection tools, understanding gauging and visual inspection tooling, attention to detailed processes.

Work with team to trouble shoot setup, assembly, and/or flow issues.

Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.

Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation and notification when defects are identified.

Other duties as assigned by the management.

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (1-3 years desired).

Basic understanding of 3D printing processes, including FDM, SLA, DLP, or MJF.

Experience interacting with mechanical systems and ability to troubleshoot assembly machines or equipment.

Proven record of using inspection data to make mechanical and program changes to achieve part specifications.

Proficient with use of inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection of materials.

Able to read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately set up assemblies.

Good computer navigation and utilization skills.

Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea.

Able to work in a team environment and communicate clearly and effectively with team members at all levels.

Hand-on skills (Assembly/disassembly, prototype fabrication, use of electronic equipment, simple soldering, etc.).

Ability to read and write English.

Ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs.

Understanding of GD&T is a plus.
