Overview:

Manages and coordinates the Maintenance Department operations, maintenance and repair activities, and assigns and monitors work and performance of staff and contractors. Ensures that the goals and objectives of the department are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through management of the employees, vendors and outside contractors.

Qualifications:
One year certificate from College or Technical School; or three to five years related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Health care industry and prior supervisory experience preferred.

Working knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, building controls and blueprint reading as they relate to new construction and renovation projects.

Ability to use a variety of computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and preventive maintenance software.

Valid driver's license.
