Overview:
The Sr. Processing Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and developing Processing Managers within the CD Operations department. This role supports the VP of Operations by evaluating production and driving process improvements. The position focuses on enhancing efficiency, quality, and compliance while maintaining profitability within the Direct Lending department. This is a remote position offering a salary of $(phone number removed) plus monthly incentives and benefits starting on day one.

Responsibilities:
Monitor overall production and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality while ensuring compliance.

Develop and implement strategies to improve conversion rates, cycle times, customer service, and profitability.

Assist Loan Processing Managers with recruiting, hiring, and staff development.

Manage and mentor Loan Processing Managers to exceed performance standards.

Maintain standardized operational processes across teams.

Balance team workloads and ensure efficient management of pipelines and volume levels.

Oversee the company's corrective action processes through Loan Processing Managers.

Provide management support in areas such as loan reviews, strategy, and process clarification.

Ensure compliance with all required processes and standards.

Review production and operations reports to meet internal and external timelines.

Promote best practices to ensure excellent customer service.

Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (both verbal and written).

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.

Analytical thinker with the ability to drive team performance.

Proven leadership skills, with a successful track record of leading and mentoring staff.

Strong planning and organizational abilities.

Able to make timely and difficult decisions, even under pressure.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Knowledge of Encompass Software is required.

Education and Experience:

College degree preferred.

5+ years of management experience in the mortgage industry.

5+ years of mortgage banking experience with an understanding of workflows and loan origination systems.

Knowledge of mortgage regulatory requirements, GSE loan programs, and mortgage documents.
