Job description
CGRC's Intensive Family Coaching (IFC) Services are intended to be provided for a minimum of one and maximum of two hours sessions each week within the home setting. The model is intended to work with the entire family system including caregivers and siblings. The IFC team teaches specialized parenting or skills based on the IFC model with the identified child and primary caregiver/parent. PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy) skills are modeled for the caregiver with the identified child, the sibling group and other parents / caregivers in the home to promote generalization of skills.

The IFC Mobile Therapist is the primary therapist leading the assigned IFC team, responsible to actively teach specialized parenting or skills according to the IFC model with the identified child and primary caregiver/parent.
Some responsibilities include:
- Participate in all IFC Training sessions prior to delivering the model to families.
- Provide family therapy services using the Intensive Family Coaching model to children and their caregivers in the home setting.
- Achieve mastery of all IFC-Mobile Therapist competencies.
- Develop effective and timely treatment goals with measurable objectives and provide information/referral services to clients and families.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with team members and supervisory team.
- Record all case progress notes to maintain accurate history of treatment events and client progress.
- Conduct intake appointments with families and collect information relevant to the assessment process (medical info, mental status of client, and biopsychosocial info)
- Develop clinical documents that summarize observational data collected, assessments completed, and that will support continuing treatment of identified behaviors (treatment plan, etc.)
