Description

  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely month-end close processes.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts. Provide variance analysis and support business planning efforts.
  • Audit Support: Coordinate and prepare documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company procedures.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and controls. Participate in the implementation of new technologies or system upgrades.
  • Inventory Accounting: Oversee inventory valuation and costing, ensuring accuracy and alignment with production.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or progress towards certification is preferred.
  • 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and budgeting principles.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
