As an LPN Charge Nurse for Homeland Center, you will be contributing to a culture of care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care of residents within a skilled nursing setting.
This opening requires a valid Pennsylvania Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
All shifts, First (7am-3pm), Second (3pm-11pm), and Third (11pm-7am).
Full-time, part-time, and per diem opportunities.

Responsibilities include:
Managing and providing physician ordered direct care.
Distributing medications.
Updating electronic medical charts.
Ensuring continuity of care for residents between shifts.
Supervising the care provided by CNAs and other support staff.
Maintaining the role of Resident Advocate, with a focus on the facility's mission, goals, and objectives associated to high quality care.
Requirements include:
_Education and Experience:_
Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior experience with Geriatric residents preferred.
_Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:_
Valid and Current Practical Nurse Licensure from the State of PA Licensure Board
_Computer Skills:_
Experience and familiarity with electronic charting programs such as Point Click Care. Computerized Medication Cart and Electronic Medical Records is helpful, but not required. Must be willing to be trained in electronic charting and documentation.
_Other Skills:_
Team Player that is willing to assist in the accomplishment of the overall goal of the facility and for the benefit of our residents.
