Job description

  • Analyze and develop policies and benefit plans including life, long-term disability, and long-term care insurance coverage or financial benefits including retirement, profit sharing, and pension plans.

  • Keep abreast of current benefit trends and legislative requirements and programs.

  • Researches various beneficiary, assignment, and claims issues.

  • Train team members on benefit plans. May work on special projects.

    Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of benefit programs and life insurance rules relating to benefits.

  • Advanced PC Skills.

  • Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Leadership skills.

  • Demonstrated ability in handling details and key follow-up capability

  • Strong Researching skills

  • Document server repository skills

  • Ability to handle confidential PII in a professional manner

  • Experience with workflow systems

  • Salesforce experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • 5 Plus years of relevant Insurance industry experience is required.

    Education Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
