Responsibilities:
Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Network Architect with expertise in both on-premises and cloud networking, particularly with AWS. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and optimize our network infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration between on-prem and cloud environments. This role requires a deep understanding of networking principles, cloud services, and security protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Design & Architecture:

Design scalable and secure network architectures for on-prem and cloud environments.

Develop detailed architecture diagrams and documentation for network solutions.

AWS Networking Expertise:

Implement and manage AWS networking services such as VPC, Direct Connect, Route 53, and Transit Gateway.

Optimize cloud network performance and security by utilizing AWS best practices.

Integration & Migration:

Lead the integration of on-prem networks with AWS, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Support cloud migration initiatives, providing network assessments and strategy recommendations.

Performance Monitoring & Troubleshooting:

Monitor network performance and conduct regular assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in both on-prem and cloud environments promptly.

Security & Compliance:

Implement and enforce network security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Collaborate with security teams to assess vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into network solutions.

Provide technical guidance and support to IT staff and stakeholders.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in network architecture, with a focus on both on-prem and cloud environments.

Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking services.

Certifications:AWS Certified Solutions Architect or similar AWS certification preferred.

Relevant networking certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent) are a plus.

Technical Skills:Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.) and technologies (firewalls, VPNs, load balancers).

Proficiency with automation and orchestration tools for network management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

Soft Skills:Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
