Job description


The Spending Account Technical Analyst is responsible fortechnical tasks and deliverables for assignedclients relating to implementations, annual renewals, ongoing administration, and special projects for Spending Account clients.

The Spending Account Technical Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and compliance of our Spending Account programs. This includes analyzing and interpreting complex technical information related to Spending Account regulations, systems, files, and processes. Additional responsibilities include providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, ad-hoc reporting, and implementing enhancements to optimize our Spending Account operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited, to the following:

Load client data as needed (Elections, Deposits, Demographic Data).

Create and execute queries utilizing SQL and/or Access to manipulate, map, convert, and validate data.

Develop and execute quality-reviewed test plans and test case scenarios.

Develop, generate, and verify quality standards for custom/ad-hoc reports for internal and external clients.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system and file specifications, user manuals, and training materials.

Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders.

Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to Spending Account systems, processes, and data integration.

Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Technical Analyst or similar role, preferably in a Spending Accounts or benefits administration environment.

Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting technical information and translating it into actionable insights.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access and/or SQL is required.

Solid knowledge of database management systems, data integration, and reporting tools.

Client facing experience highly preferred.

Experience within the health care, health and welfare consulting, insurance brokerage, human resources consulting, and employee benefits industries are highly preferred.

Related exposure to COBRA, Spending Accounts, HRIS, and/or Payroll environments is a plus.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Proven ability to successfully multitask, adjust priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ability to successfully execute tasks while adhering to specified quality standards.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong attention to detail, as well as strong organizational and analytical skills.

Possess proactive mindset to seeks information to create effective solutions.

Proven ability to build rapport, provide superior customer service and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Proficient experience in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
