ENGINEERING MANAGER - Hybrid Role.

We have partnered with a manufacturing company, actively seeking an Engineering Manager,

The Right Candidate: This person will be a self-motivated, is mechanically-inclined, and is a team-player. Ability to communicate new ideas effectively and clearly will be critical. This role will work with every department within this manufacturing company. Demonstrated problem solving and leadership skillsets will set quality candidates apart from others. Experience with process improvement within the fast-paced food industry is also a requirement! This Engineering Manager role is a hybrid position.

Engineering Manager - Duties/Responsibilities:

• Collaborates with other manufacturing managers and leadership to set and assess priorities across teams.
• Is responsible for design, construction management, and startup of capital projects in accordance with corporate financial policies and controls

• Manages vendor relationships, prepares RFQ's, negotiates purchase contracts for equipment and labor, directs activity of outside contractors to design, purchase, construct, and startup new capital projects.
• Assesses cost effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes; makes and implements recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Supervises tooling operations, ensuring all work is performed accurately and according to quality and safety standards.
• Provides guidance and oversight in development and execution of plant renovations and expansions, coordinates outside contractors and vendors.
• Assists the Maintenance Supervisor and/or other appropriate leadership with programs, activities, and responsibilities of the maintenance department.
• Ensures compliance with health and safety laws, regulations, and guidelines, including EPA and OSHA requirements.
• Prepares and implements the departmental budget.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Engineering Manager - Required Skills/Abilities:

• Thorough understanding of plant engineering.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare budgets and records.

Engineering Manager - Education and Experience:
