PART-TIME-Evening Servers

Fieldstone at Chester Springs - the area's newest senior living community opening this Summer - is seeking compassionate individuals who are passionate about enhancing the lives of seniors. This is a great opportunity to be part of the team that welcomes the community's first residents.

As a Server, you will be responsible for proper dining set-up, providing meal and dining services and cleaning of the dining rooms.

General day to day responsibilities will include

• Utilizing proper food handling and food service techniques.
• Taking meal/drink orders and serving meals in a friendly and timely manner.
• Assuring resident/guest is satisfied with their meals.
• Maintaining knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items and explains to residents or guests.
• Maintaining assigned tables and surrounding area in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness.
• Following daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Assisting with orientation and training of new food servers.
• Practicing all safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Setting-up and cleaning the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
• Maintaining or exceeding standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
• Performing and completing opening and closing checklist criteria.
• Assisting in dining room and surrounding areas for proper directional flow, organization and supplies placement.
• Other duties as assigned.

The right candidate should be a professional who balances team and individual responsibilities and can handle multiple priorities with organizational and time management skills.

While we support continued learning and enrichment, and celebrate a culture that encourages learning new skills, there are base level requirements for this position that include but are not limited to:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in fine dining preferred.
