Job Summary:

Agency Sales Specialist is responsible for engaging with customers on behalf of the company. Their duties include answering phone calls or emails from customers to answer questions, participating in meetings with the customer service team to discover new communication strategies, and maintaining expert knowledge about company products or services to best help customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The representative is responsible for servicing existing renewal clients of the business and working towards retention of existing clients.
  • The representative is also responsible for qualifying leads and setting appointments for potential new prospects, to meet with and to sell Medicare products.
  • The representative will meet with new prospects with the goal of marketing and selling Medicare products.
  • The representative must possess a high-level service attitude and dedication to helping clients.
  • This individual must be a self-starter that can identify and develop new business prospects from inbound marketing leads and educational/sales events.
  • The representative will need to enter Book of Business client records into Integrity Connect, N&F's Agency Bloc, at the start of the job and maintain ongoingly to keep accurate client records.
  • The representative will be required to agree to an LOA Agreement, assignment of commissions to the employer business entity.
Primary Skills and Requirements:
  • Active PA Insurance License or willingness to obtain license
  • AHIP Certification or ready for Major Medicare Products
  • Meet/Exceed monthly service and new sales performance goals
  • Qualify potential new business over the phone and at educational meetings
  • Willing to travel locally. Meetings will take place either in the consumer's home or in a public setting based on the consumer's access to locations.
  • Set appointments based on availability
  • Ability to close sales
  • Ability to properly enter, manage and update leads and lead statuses into an online lead
  • Tracking and customer management system
  • Experience with Medicare
  • Life & Health Insurance License in Pennsylvania or willingness to obtain license
  • AHIP certifications
  • 2+ Years of Medicare Product Sales Experience
  • 1+ years of customer service and/or inside sales
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed activity quotas
  • A proven track record of strong client relationships
  • Telephonic customer service skills
  • Technical Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Customer Database/CRM Software preferred
