Client Details

Our Client is one of the Mid-Atlantic's most respected and reliable turnkey site contractors who works on projects for commercial, residential, military, federal government, healthcare, higher education, and housing developments and specialize in large site development projects that exceed 450,000 square feet.

Description

  • Project Planning & Execution:

    • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule for site development projects.
    • Coordinate with design teams, engineers, and architects to finalize plans and ensure project feasibility.
    • Prepare detailed project timelines and ensure all phases are completed on time.
  • Budgeting & Cost Control:

    • Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, cost tracking, and ensuring financial objectives are met.
    • Monitor project expenses and implement corrective actions when needed to stay within budget.
  • Site Management:

    • Oversee all on-site activities, ensuring that site work complies with local codes, environmental regulations, and safety standards.
    • Coordinate the mobilization and demobilization of site equipment and personnel.
    • Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure performance aligns with project specifications.
  • Client & Stakeholder Communication:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and providing regular updates on project status.
    • Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, including local authorities, consultants, and contractors.
  • Risk Management & Compliance:

    • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
    • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards on site.
  • Quality Assurance:

    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
    • Address any deficiencies promptly and coordinate with contractors to resolve issues.
  • Project Closeout:

    • Oversee final inspections and approvals from local authorities.
    • Ensure that all project documentation, including permits, warranties, and as-built drawings, are properly completed and submitted.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in site development or civil construction.
  • Strong knowledge of site development processes including grading, utilities, and stormwater management.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from start to finish, on time, and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Procore, or similar).
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to site development.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or similar project management certification.
  • Experience with turnkey or design-build projects.
  • Familiarity with land use planning, permitting, and environmental impact processes.
