STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Bridgeville, PA (in-office)
$50,000-$65,000

As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the financial operations related to inventory, fixed assets, and sales/use tax. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulations, and support the overall financial health of the company.

OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions and balances.
• Monitor and analyze inventory variances and implement corrective actions.
• Manage the fixed asset register, ensuring proper capitalization and depreciation.
• Coordinate with departments to track and record acquisitions, disposals, and transfers of assets.
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns in compliance with state and local regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Provide support for audits, including preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Knowledge of inventory management, fixed assets, and sales/use tax regulations preferred.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience.
