At IPS, we apply our knowledge, skills, and passion to make a difference in the lives of people, solving complex challenges related to life sciences. We are looking for a dedicated Junior Project Accountant (A/P) to join our talented team at our office located in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
Reporting directly to the Project Accounting Manager and/or the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will join a fast-paced and growing team of Accountants. You will work with Project Accountants and the AP team, while also communicating with Project Managers and their Project teams.
Position Responsibilities
Perform Project Accounting related tasks, including project setups, budget revisions, and client invoicing
Oversee AP service desk, responding to or routing inquiries and AP invoices accordingly
Code, enter and process AP invoices from vendors and subcontractors, and route posted invoices for approval
Process AP, labor and expense transfers
Assist with ad hoc tasks, such as creating reports, auditing expenses, obtaining monthly approvals for credit card charges, and maintaining various spreadsheets

Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Highly reliable and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Able to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines
Capable of performing all job duties with a strong sense of urgency and fiscal responsibility
Able to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
Proficient using Microsoft Office programs
