Job Responsibilities
Implement QHSE strategies Align with the global QHSE and support the local management in developing the country QHSE strategic roadmap, drive implementation of action plans and objectives.
Responsabilidades
• Coordinate and align QHSE activities of all business units amongst the stations with the country, in line with the regional roadmap and Swissport standards and management systems.
• Change agent, coach and advisor for the local management team.
• Ensure comprehensive and efficient implementation of Swissport's QHSE management system within the region/countries/stations and actively support the development and improvement of the Swissport Quality Health & Safety Management System as part of the Swissport Formula.
• Be the country point of contact and reference for Quality, Safety and Environment for all Swissport's business units.
• Lead by example and continuously manage and coordinate QHSE improvement and compliance within the country by leading the cultural change to a Zero Incident mind-set.
• Build a sustainable QHSE commitment, awareness, knowledge, behaviors and engagement of the country and stations management and employees.
• Deliver regular QHSE performance reports to the Country and Regional Management.
• Ensure the highest levels of qualification, skills and key competencies (audits, investigation, risk analysis, reporting, communication, training, coaching and prevention) are provided for the QHSE management team within the country and identify improvement areas to accelerate the implementation of the Zero incident mind-set.
• Plan, prepare and conduct internal safety audits in Swissport operational organizations and initiate / monitor corrective actions based on audit findings and occurrence investigations
• Initiate and/or carry out investigations on occurrences if applicable
• Ensure the establishment and maintenance of an operational risk register and the legal surveillance and compliance to the country and industries standards and laws.
• Enhance experience sharing by promoting exchange of resources and support.
• Assure participation in regional experts' groups.
• Be the point of contact for airline representatives, civil aviation authorities and government officials for all QHSE related matters.
Provide guidance and develop the local QHSE management in the country and the stations providing formal supervision to the team under he/her scope of responsibilities. Monitor day by day the staff performance to ensure full compliance with all team's responsibilities. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime, travel arrangement and career path. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Oversees the training team and supports the country training program.
Qualifications and Experience
University technical degree/ professional qualifications or equivalent in related field, required.
Industry Certification: such as certified Safety Professional (preferable).
5 - 10 years of experience in a senior management role of multi sites in QHSE, in the industry.
Successful experience in implementing ISO 45001, ISO 9001 & ISAGO management systems.
