Job description
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Night Auditor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while accurately performing night audit procedures.
Position Information: Full-time, $18.00 hourly rate. Please note this position will require Friday and Saturday Audit (Overnight) shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner during check-in, check-out, and throughout their stay.
- Obtain guest identification and credit/check approvals in accordance with hotel policies.
- Ensure special guest requests are communicated, noted, and fulfilled.
- Listen and respond to guest inquiries with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Manage and resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and courteously.
- Answer telephone calls promptly, route calls appropriately, and provide accurate information.
- Enthusiastically promote the property, offering information about events, facilities, amenities, and rate packages.
- Communicate effectively with the incoming shift to relay necessary information.
- Complete daily checklist tasks and adhere to cash handling policies.
- Post charges to individual room or master accounts accurately.
- Reconcile charges, cash received during the shift, and prepare the drop with witness verification.
- Drive Company vans as needed.
- Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures.
- Offer and properly manage wake-up call requests.
- Reconcile daily revenue, process payments, balance accounts receivables, and prepare management reports.
- Complete the update process on the front office system following guidelines.
- Balance and audit all front desk postings and settlements.
- Reconcile food & beverage and miscellaneous revenue sources to the point of sale system.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

- Conduct yourself professionally at all times.
- Ensure a safe working environment and report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all departments.
- Comply with all policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Possession of required government licenses or certificates.
- Basic math skills and prior cash handling experience.
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
- Ability to receive and follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Willingness to work any day of the week and any hour as needed.
