Job description

Our client in the production and industrial field is seeking an Assembler II to join their team. As an Assembler II, you will be part of the manufacturing team supporting the production process. The ideal candidate will have experience working with small parts, collaborating with a team, and troubleshooting technical challenges.

Job Title: Assembler II

Location: Hillsboro, OR

Pay Range: $23 per hour

What's the Job?

• Conduct assembly, alignments, and final configurations of components.
• Conduct assembly work applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures, and test equipment.
• Collect test data, use databases and other office programs to document the manufacturing process.
• Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions.
• Assist in the selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment.

What's Needed?

• 1 year of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience required.
• Background in precision mechanical assembly and low-volume, sophisticated manufacturing processes required.
• Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plus.
• Previous assembly experience in a Clean Room environment is a plus.
• Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Division-Specific Outlook and Access).
