Starting Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 - depending on experience

General Position Summary:
Provide project management support for Project Managers through effective communication, negotiation, scheduling, tracking, document control, and forecasting of costs and profitability. Support and collaborate with company superintendents, foreman, engineers, detailers, and management to deliver quality and profitable projects.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Assist in the bid process and the procurement of new work.
2. Assist in estimating and negotiating change orders.
3. Track, forecast, report labor hours and material costs.
4. Assist in the buyout of major equipment and subcontracts.
5. Expedite and track deliveries of major equipment/materials.
6. Maintain working knowledge of general conditions, work scope and specifications of project contract/subcontract.
7. Maintain and control documents in compliance with UMC Standards as well as contractual compliance.
8. Collaborate with field labor supervision to plan, organize and schedule project work including preparation of subcontract/contract integrated project schedule.
9. Review contract drawings, detail drawings and specifications.
10. Prepare fabrication shop work package including detail drawing review, material take off and buyout, and man-hour fabrication budget.
11. Ensure full compliance with UMC Safety Program at the jobsite.
12. Regular attendance and promptness are considered part of each employee's essential job functions.
13. Proficiency with MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, One Drive, MS Teams, SharePoint, BIM360, Viewpoint Team, Viewpoint Vista, Revit
Secondary Job Functions:
1. Maintain client relations.
2. Develop and retain mechanical systems knowledge including engineering, estimating, construction practices, and financial management.

Education/ Experience Requirements Needed to Perform the Essential Duties of the Job:
- Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering degree desired.
Licensing or Other Special Certifications Required:
- Maintain a valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
