Job Title: Label Operator Finishing Department
Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Label Operator to join our Finishing Department. In this role, you will operate and manage rewinding or spooling machines, ensuring that products meet high-quality standards by inspecting for defects. Youll communicate with the Shift Supervisor on production details such as defects, overages, and shortages, while playing a key role in achieving quality control. This is an excellent opportunity for advancement within the company, as we prefer to promote and train operators into higher roles, such as Press or Coating Operators.


Location: Gresham, OR 97030 (in-person, no remote options)
Job Type: Full-Time 40 hours/week
Shift & Schedule:



  • Day Shift: Mon Thurs 5 AM 5 PM

  • Night Shift: Mon Thurs 5 PM 5 AM ($1 Shift Differential)
    Pay: $18-30/hour based on experience (with opportunities for advancement)
    Benefits Eligible: Yes


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and manage rewinding or spooling machines to ensure defect-free and visually appealing rolls of material.

  • Inspect products and equipment for quality control, ensuring materials are in specification.

  • Communicate with the Shift Supervisor regarding production updates, including defects, shortages, or overages.

  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

  • Support team communication and collaboration to ensure smooth production processes.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to learning, reliability, and long-term career growth within the company.

  • Contribute to the departments goals by meeting or exceeding production standards.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train candidates with the right mindset.

  • Experience in other technical or challenging fields is also considered an advantage.

  • Basic mechanical aptitude is a plus, as a Mechanical Aptitude Test will be required before interviews.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

  • Must be able to pass a drug test.


Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment with 12-hour shifts.

  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive tasks.

  • Day and night shift availability, with no weekend work required.
