Brookhaven Hospital - Immediate hiring with a $5,000 sign-on bonus! Starting pay is $26 per hour! Pay is commensurate with experience and/or education.

SCHEDULE

  • 12-hour shifts, 7P-7A rotating weekends
  • Shift differentials up to $4.65 per hours for evenings, nights, and weekends
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Plans, delegates and supervises duties essential to meeting the clinical needs of patients and administration of the unit
  • Works closely with registered nurses (RNs), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), mental health technicians (MHTs), therapists, and other healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive care to patients
  • Assists RNs in developing and implementing nursing care plans based on patient assessments and individual needs
  • Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers, under the direction and supervision of an RN
  • Monitors patient vital signs, assesses their condition, and reports changes to RN or healthcare team
  • Assists with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges as part of a coordinated team effort
  • Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning process by providing input and collaborating with other team members
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation of nursing care provided
  • Maintains a safe environment for patients, families, team members, and visitors
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current LPN license to practice in the state of Oklahoma
  • Two years of experience in a skilled nursing care setting preferred
  • CPR Certification
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Understands and complies with all applicable laws and regulations
PHYSICAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS
  • Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods
  • May be required to lift or push up to 65lbs
  • Requires the ability to read, write, and process information accurately
