Job description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the production department supporting the packaging team. The ideal candidate will have good organizational and communication skills, be knowledgeable in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), and have the ability to handle small tools, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Wilmington, OH

Pay Range: $18.50 per hour

What's the Job?

• 1st Shift 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday
• Performs accurate set ups on equipment in preparation for particular product runs.
• Operates equipment and adjusts as necessary to ensure equipment is operating correctly and meeting quality specifications.
• Inspects and tests packages, and documents results to ensure equipment is operating correctly and meeting quality specifications.
• Stages and checks required materials for quick and accurate changeovers in production.
• Completes and assembles all required documentation associated with the position.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
• Must be knowledgeable in GMPs and the HACCP program or willing to learn.
• Sufficient math skills to calculate quantities of material required for orders being run.
• Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures
