OVERVIEW & PURPOSE

The sales support representative provides support to the sales team by performing a number of administrative tasks.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Assist sales reps with verifying current configurations.
  2. Assist sales reps with entering deals properly into the Salesforce Configurator for new proposals.
  3. Verifying new proposals have the same configurations as previous configurations.
  4. Back up to making sure all orders are in good condition to be processed efficiently through corporate order process.
  5. Assistant in preparing paperwork for new deals for sales reps.
  6. Research for sales reps and clients.
  7. Pull EA info for sales reps and clients.
  8. Pull CC info for sales reps and clients.
  9. Communicate with clients when a rep is unavailable.
  10. Work with other departments inside MOM (Modern Office Methods) for sales rep and client inquiries.
  11. Work with Leasing Partners on client inquiries.
  12. Work with Excel to calculate current hardware costs and service costs
  13. Processes orders for MPS (Managed Print Services) , MFD, Production, and Solutions.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen . The employee frequently is required to stand and walk . The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds . Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

POSITION TYPE & EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

Some flexibility is allowed, but normal work hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and you must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

TRAVEL

No travel is expected for this position, but it may b e possible between branches .

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Preferred Experience in administrative support role for at least 2 years.
  3. Current driver's license. Access to vehicle for job travel between company branches and client sites . Valid certificate of insurance with the minimum liability requirements set forth by the company.
  4. Extensive knowledge and understanding of MS Office suite of products.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  1. Experience supporting sales or marketing staff.
