Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an In-house Payroll Administrator to work in the Toledo, OH area. This position offers a variety of great benefits including competitive salary, health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.

Our client is looking for a Payroll Administrator with in-house payroll experience. They have a dedicated internal team that processes payroll for the entire organization, which includes preparing and double-checking remittances to submitting them. The ideal candidate has experience processing high volumes of payroll (they process around 2,500 associates each week), but they are open to someone with in-house experience they can train to get up to speed. Union and construction experience is also a plus, but not a requirement.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Be proficient in all tasks necessary to process weekly payroll accurately and timely as well as meet all governmental and union reporting deadlines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete daily and weekly time and verify data for accuracy
• Process weekly payroll including reviewing the payroll register, printing checks, and updating the accounting records
• Process layoff checks as needed
• Set up new hires and new unions in accounting software
• Assist with required reporting to various unions and taxing entities
• Balance payroll and union reports to the general ledger
• Complete federal, state and local tax reports and send in payments
• Help prepare governmental payroll reports
• Respond to associate inquiries related to payroll
