PPC is committed to developing creative and effective solutions to the nation's most complicated defense problems. This position will primarily consist of remote work with required in-person collaboration in Dayton or Huntsville. RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
Collaborate with a team of military functional area Subject Matter Experts (Space, Intelligence, Cyber, Mobility, Command and Control) and provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise in developing new operational and training capabilities.
Design, develop, and ensure the maintenance of scalable and reliable software solutions.
Understand/translate requirements from DoD customers, SMEs, and company leadership into software solutions.
Assist in code reviews and quality control.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software.
Contribute to architectural decisions and provide insights into system improvements.
Maintain familiarity with immerging technologies, tools, and best practices in software engineering. REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 8+ years' experience in software development.
Experience with DoD-SBIR, STTR, other gov't programs for investing in innovation and technology.
Proficiency with web technologies, encompassing both back-end and front-end development (REST APIs, database design, client server paradigms).
Understand software development life cycles, architecture and best practices.
Must have strong application testing discipline.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must be willing to live near or travel to offices in Dayton, OH or Huntsville, AL for classified work.
