Summary
We are seeking a dependable and dedicated Branch Vice President for our branch. This is a senior-level position responsible for all aspects of branch operations, inclusive of equipment sales, rental, and associated aftermarket equipment care (parts and service). Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the branch's growth with complete profit and loss responsibility.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by maximizing the uptime of customer equipment through exceptional customer care.
- Oversee daily sales activity, meets with customers, evaluates branch performance reports, and consistently seeks more effective sales strategies through the marketing and promotion of Company products and services.
- Demonstrate detailed knowledge of Company's products and services.
- Possess knowledge of competitor products and markets.
- Exhibit awareness of best sales practices and methods.
- Understand the basic technical, operational, and maintenance needs of construction equipment.
- Understand and analyzes business reporting, finance, and accounting.
- Demonstrate strong motivational and leadership skills.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Communicate clearly and effectively.
- Fluent navigation of various business software platforms.
- Meets with existing customers to discuss the Company's products and services
- Works to foster lasting relationships with customer base
- Locates and aggressively pursues opportunities to expand customer base
- Networks through trade organizations to prospect for new customers
- Sets quarterly and annual sales goals for branch and individual sales representatives
- Works with Branch team (Product Support Representatives, Sales Representatives, Service Manager, and Parts Manager)
- Maintain and enhance Rudd's image.
Education and/or Experience
A Branch Vice President should hold a bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college/university in Finance, Business Administration, or Marketing. A High School diploma or equivalent may be considered with extensive industry knowledge and experience. Additionally, this position requires a career history of sales and marketing experience with a successful sales record.
Physical Demands
This position is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands/fingers with fine and gross motor movements, climb and balance, stoop, and kneel.
Work Environment
While performing this job's duties, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions, and noise levels requiring hearing protection and other personal protective equipment.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
- This is position is classified as full-time, exempt.
- Travel is anticipated for this position.
