Job Title: Electrical Service TechnicianLocation: Perrysburg, OhioSummary:The Electrical Service Technician acts as an advocate for the company providing customer service in the office and on-site worldwide. General scope of duties includes machine installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of PLC and PC-controlled systems and supporting development, designing, and manufacturing of the equipment in a unique machine industry - including such machines in the photovoltaic industry like vacuum coating and automation. International travel is required. This is a full-time exempt position with limited supervision.Skills: Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings/blueprints/diagrams. Familiarity with semiconductor equipment or other large complex electro-mechanical systems are a plus. Experience with high voltage electrical, hazardous materials, thermal systems, and computer and PLC based control systems helpful. Ability to setup, operate, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software systems in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Ability to use Microsoft Office programs on a beginner to intermediate level, especially Excel Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook. Ability to use AutoCAD programs on a beginner to intermediate level. One who possesses a continuous improvement mindset and challenges the norm is highly preferred. Must be able to work well under pressure and maintain a positive and cooperative attitude while interfacing with customers and colleagues. Establish and maintain a clean and safe work area following 5S practices while ensuring tools, equipment, and part inventory are well organized and stored properly. Must be a self-starter and works efficiently. Self-sufficiently performs a wide range of complex duties under minimal guidance from the department manager. Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function as directed by the department manager.Physical Requirements: Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to 8-12 hours per day. Will climb stairs on an occasional basis. Will lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis, according to work requirements. Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects. Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures. Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required. Must be able to fly both domestically and internationally.
