Job description

With your passion for people, you'll partner with the plant staff including Production Supervisors, Union Stewards and Hourly employees as appropriate, to drive plant engagement and provide excellent customer service to plant personnel.

We'll lean on you to leverage your attention to detail and multitasking skills to produce daily and weekly scheduling, process and manage timecards, metric reporting and more!

Education

  • High School Diploma

    Preferred Education

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or related field

    People Operations Partner Qualifications

  • Proven strong ability to use independent critical thinking and decision making

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and needs of the business

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Effective organizational and time management skills

  • Passion about your work

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills - primarily Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

    People Operations Partner Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-2 years experience in a Human Resources environment, preferred but not required

    People Operations Partner Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate tracking to ensure completion of job-specific training

  • Hands-on partnership with Production Supervisor to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints

  • Contribute to efficient operations and maintain labor relations by checking in employees, accurately scheduling employees according to the plant's collective bargaining agreement

  • Report on HR metrics as needed

  • Maintains and processes a variety of confidential records including personnel files, employment data, etc.

  • Support plant projects and events as needed
