Job description
$15,000 sign-on bonus
What You'll Do:
1st shift, full time (80hrs), on-call rotation
Assist with Procedures: Support Cardiologists, Radiologists, and other physicians with diagnostic and interventional vascular and cardiology procedures, including device implants.
Sterile Field Maintenance: Prepare and maintain sterile fields and solutions, ensuring all equipment and supplies meet sterile requirements.
Contrast Media Administration: Administer contrast media as delegated by the physician, demonstrating proficiency in fluoroscopy, venipuncture, and contrast administration techniques.
Radiation Safety: Monitor and enforce radiation safety practices in all areas of the lab.
Imaging: Position patients and obtain images using a C-arm during surgical procedures, adhering to sterile field protocols.
Documentation & Compliance: Collaborate with nursing staff on medical documentation, departmental policies, ACC reporting requirements, and quality control. Maintain patient confidentiality and provide technical assistance with PACS and report management.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure equipment is functioning properly, report hazards or malfunctions, and assist with end-of-shift activities and inventory management.
Radiological Services: Provide general radiological services as needed, depending on time availability.
Attendance & On-Call: Exhibit regular and predictable attendance, take call per scheduled rotation, and report to the hospital within 30 minutes for emergency cases.

Mandatory Training: Attend all required education and in-services, including team training, safety, infection control, and complete mandatory health requirements.
Ethics & Compliance: Adhere to the hospital's Ethics and Compliance program, report any compliance variances to your supervisor or through appropriate channels.
What You'll Bring:
Experience: At least one year of previous interventional cardiology and vascular experience is required.
Education & Certification:
Graduation from an approved school of Radiologic Technology (registry eligible).
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Current Ohio Radiographer License.
Certifications:
Continuous certification in American Heart Association's Basic Life Support (BLS).
Attain American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of employment and maintain continuous certification.
Responsiveness: Ability to respond to call coverage within 30 minutes of notification.
