Job description

Location: Northwestern Ohio, the second largest city in Northwest Ohio and one of few in the region where the population is currently growing. About 47 miles south of Toledo, 108 miles north of Dayton, and 137 miles west of Akron.

Facility: A community-based healthcare facility that provides a range of services, including emergency care, surgical services, and various specialized medical treatments. The hospital is known for its commitment to patient-centered care and community health initiatives.

Opportunity:

  • Seeking a Board-Certified PA to join their Podiatry unit
  • Strong Podiatry or Wound Care background with at least 2 years experience - will consider less than 2 years if real interest in Podiatry
  • Combination of clinic, hospital rounding and surgery time, including travel to satellite office locations
  • Outpatient podiatry clinic and inpatient rounding, including travel to satellite office locations and nursing homes
  • Inpatient rounding and consults during the day
  • 1:3 clinic phone call only
  • Clinic coverage for DPM as needed
  • Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages
  • Ability to read and learn independently
  • High enthusiasm with urgency to treat
  • Willing to go above and beyond
  • Passion for hard work
  • NP/PA work experience as first assist for surgery required
  • Wound care, interpretation of radiographic imaging
