Description Position Title: F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Logistics Manager Company: ACT1 Federal Location: Wright-Patterson AFB About ACT1: Delivering mission-critical solutions and industry-leading talent to advance the missions of the partners, organizations, and communities we serve. Job Description: The F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Logistics Manager is a key member of the Lightning Site Activation (LSA) team that ensures F-35 units are properly equipped with the SE necessary to fulfill their missions. Responsibilities: Serves as a logistics manager responsible for directing, developing, and implementing cradle to grave logistical support for all USAF F-35 locations managing over 3000 SE items. Identifies material, services and shipping requirements and projected costs for systems life cycles. Collaborates with Lockheed Martin, Pratt & Whitney, and Naval Air Systems Command to ensure on-time delivery of SE ahead of first aircraft arrival. Responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating total, cradle to grave, life cycle logistics support for a major weapon system or subsystem, integrating separate functions of supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance into logistics activities needed to sustain system fielding. Monitors established activities providing program guidance, regarding follow-on support and sustainment to representatives of Service Support Equipment Controlling Authorities, on-site maintenance and logistics personnel, and program leadership. Responsible for the resolution of logistics problems, development and implementation of corrective actions, program enhancements, and policy changes. Member of the Site Survey and Site Activation Task Force; evaluates maintenance facilities and validates current construct against F-35 Facility Requirements Document to safely/effectively operate SE. Collaborates with Air Combat Command and projects current and future SE requirements based on established program bed down plans. Identifies and troubleshoots urgent Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) program or SE Acquisition execution problems and initiates actions to resolve them. Coordinates action necessary to resolve logistics/acquisition support problems involving maintenance, supply, and other supportability/acquisition issues. Performs studies of a logistical nature dealing with support issues and, where required, makes trips to the field units to assess problems. Plan for, and coordinate resolution of work-around SE and Interim Operating Procedures (IOPs) delivered to the end user. Address all fleet inquiries as they pertain to delivery status, delivery date changes, and interim repair processes. Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of Site Activation events Requirements SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR BA/BS degree (An additional four (4) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree) Minimum of six (6) years of experience in military aircraft maintenance and/or logistics experience Demonstrated experience within military aviation operations, procurement, budget, or logistics environments Possess knowledge of military aviation life cycle logistics infrastructure and processes Familiar with Microsoft Office Program Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project) Desired: F-35 Program Office and/or USAF MAJCOM HQ experience USAF Fighter aircraft bed-down experience F-35 aircraft maintenance experience Functional knowledge of project management methodologies Knowledge of the principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition and systems engineering required to plan, organize, and manage critical aspects of the development, production, and deployment of systems, subsystems, and equipment Knowledge of defense contracting Master's degree or higher in systems management or a related technical field (can be substituted for two years of experience) Level I DAWIA certification or equivalent Benefits Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance ACT1 Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Company Paid Life and AD&D Insurance Company Paid Short-Term Disability Voluntary Long-Term Disability Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Health Savings Account (HAS) 401K with employer match Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Parental Leave Military Leave Education, Training & Professional Development Voluntary Accidental Injury/Critical Illness/Hospital Care Voluntary Pet Insurance, Legal Resources, and Identity Protection ACT1 Federal is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
